Day 30: Gratitude

Starting Point:
Have you kept up with the 30 days of this blog?
Do you have a complete or nearly complete journal?
Will you continue to keep a gratitude journal?
Do you feel you have a different attitude now from when we started?

Quote:
You simply will not be the same person two months from now after consciously giving thanks each day for the abundance that exists in your life. And you will have set in motion an ancient spiritual law: the more you have and are grateful for, the more will be given you.     Sarah Ban Breathnach

Bible verse:
I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds.     Psalm 9:1

Inspiration:

Technique Challenge:

Dyan's Shadow Stamping
Watch Dyan’s video and then try it yourself.  If you don’t have Dyan’s stamps (Why not?) then try other stamps that you already have.

And one last guest contribution: A poem from my friend Suki Bonilla

I am Thankful
I have so much to be thankful for
So much more than I could ever tell
If I live to be a hundred years or more
For every day that I was allowed to breathe
For my children and their precious seeds
For my mate who embraces me
And promises that no matter what may come
He will stand by my side, and never part
For the healings, the deliverances
The souls that now can see
For the new song I sing at noon
Or in the midnight hour
For the victories and Your Awesome Power
I am Thankful

  2. WOW Bernice, this has been a wonderful journey for me. Thank you so much. Yes I have kept up - just - only today's challenge to do. You have probably noticed that I have mainly done the techniques and scriptures but have some super pages to go back and add my journaling to - already done some too. I do have a few pages left in my journal but am going to do a page for each Advent Sunday, Christmas, me and New Year. Can't believe you are planning something for February already, but looking forward to that, I'll be there. Thanks again BJ

  4. Bernice, this challenge has been great! I enjoyed myself very much and would really love to do another one. I'm just sad your next one will be till February . That's a long time form now. You should do this on a monthly basis. Every time I finish a page it gives me a since of accomplishment, a since of being. I am so moved by this challenged, it has brought me more closer to Christ, and I thank you for it. I suffer from panic attacks and this process has brought so much serenity and peace of mind to me. Its almost like a healing process for me. I thank you ones again Bernice for this wonderful challenge. God bless

  5. I'm half way through with creating my journal pages, but I read and think about the prompts each day as you post them and look at what others have done. It has been very helpful to me in several ways. I often have so many ideas but most times don't know where to begin. Having a daily theme and assignment gives me direction. It has also been very good to spend time in reflection. I've been able to revisit times in my life that I haven't thought about for a while. Thank you for that!

I would like to participate in February. Would "love" be too obvious a topic? There certainly are plenty of scriptures to cover 28 days!

  6. I just had to say thank you for this wonderful blog . The quotes, inspirations, videos and artwork have really inspired me. I have been keeping a gratitude diary and would like to complete the art journal to go with it.
    Thanks again.
